To Glorify God
And Enjoy Him Forever

The Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church of Ft. Pierce is a member congregation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church denomination. We are committed to the historic Christian Faith as taught in the Bible and summarized as a system of doctrine by our secondary standards, the Westminster Confession of Faith, Larger Catechism, and Shorter Catechism.

Covenant refers to the Covenant of Grace, which is God’s promise of Salvation to all who trust in Jesus Christ for Salvation from the guilt of sin and its attendant misery and death, the curse of the Biblical Fall.

Reformed refers to our theological heritage, which comes from the 16th century Protestant Reformation, a movement seeking to purify the church and make it radically biblical.

Presbyterian refers to our form of church government, which is ruled by the biblical word Presbyters or Elders.

Orthodox in our denomination’s name means straight doctrine.

All these terms are designed to be helpful in describing us as holding firmly to the Bible as God’s authoritative and inerrant Word and seeking to advance the Church of The Lord Jesus Christ and carry out his Great Commission as found in Matthew 28:18-20:

"Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'"

Our Sunday Services

We hold Sunday School for adults at 10 a.m.  This class is taught following a book of the Bible or a topical subject and is open for questions and discussion.

Our 11:00 a.m. Morning Worship Service can be described as traditional in a warm, personal atmosphere. Worship is a time to express praise and thanks to God through music, prayer, and giving. Worship in this service is built around expository preaching, systematically preaching through books of the Bible, so that we learn the Scriptures and their application to our lives.

The Lord's Supper is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. All who are right with God and his church, through faith in the Lord Jesus, are invited to come to the Lord’s Table. If you have received Christ and are resting upon him alone for salvation, as he is offered to you in the gospel, if you are a baptized and professing communicant member in good standing in a church that professes the gospel of God’s free grace in Jesus Christ, and if you live penitently and seek to walk in godliness before the Lord, then this Supper is for you.

Covenant Youth Group and Book Study Group

Our Bible study group meets Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.  We warmly invite guests and members alike to join us in these studies.

Every other month we seek to hold a Fellowship Luncheon after the Morning Worship Service so that we can come together and enjoy food prepared by our members. All are welcome!
